Ancient Ways Healing Circles gives a pathway for new users to essential oils and aromatherapy to become familiar with a variety of ways to use different oils and blends and their value. Healing Circles also offers simple practices and opportunities that help us rediscover our connection to the rhythms and spirit of nature, to our wholeness, to our health, and to each other, providing us a chance to cultivate a better world. Many of us feel a deep sense of longing to find greater meaning in our lives. We know there is something nature is teaching us and providing, yet we cannot seem to reach it. We long for deeper connection to each other, but we find ourselves too disconnected from ourselves to know how to reach out and share our own vulnerability and needs. We want to help the world and heal our social systems, but we often feel powerless. Creating a better world starts with inner change. Ancient Ways Healing Circles offers simple practices and a supportive environment that nurtures us on our journey toward connection, wholeness, and healing.
Through our blog and newsletter, we will send you weekly communications about simple practices that will help us on this journey, while cultivating your understanding of the use of essential oils and aromatherapy. As we move through the seasons, we will offer you a variety of practices that will support your exploration of yourself in relation to the seasons. Explorations will all be supported by specific essential oils that connect us to the wisdom, nourishment, and healing of the plant world. The simple act of using botanicals helps us pay attention to our life practices, our health, and our relationships. The transformational power of botanicals through their essences, oils, and other properties can help support the journey to our inner wisdom and wholeness. In our Healing Circle, we will listen to our inner teacher, the voices in our healing circle, and the healing power of the plants that have been used for centuries to help open awareness, evoke the sacred, bring joy, heal the body and uplift the spirit.
If you miss a communication or find yourself too distracted to do the practice, don’t let this add to your worries. You can either save the practice to do later, or you can just move on to the next practice.
At the end of each communication we will always invite you to share your reflections and thoughts. This is an important part of forming our community. By telling our stories we share of ourselves. There is something in the telling that helps to heal and bring greater wholeness to our lives.
